The following are biographical write-ups about notable Hawaiian steel guitarists of the past. These have been provided through the generous contribution of AISGC members. We are continuously adding more player write-ups so check back frequently.

HAWAIIAN STEEL GUITAR ASSOCATION

The Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association (HSGA) is our sister organization located on the west coast mainland. They publish a quarterly newsletter and hold an annual steel guitar festival in California. All AISGC members are welcome to attend!

HAWAII INSTITUTE FOR MUSIC ENRICHMENT AND LEARNING EXPERIENCES

The Hawaii Institute for Music enrichment and learning experiences is a nonprofit organization in the state of Hawaii that supports music enrichment and education for people of all ages. They present various community focused events and organize and sponsor festivals on various islands including O'ahu, Kaua'i, Maui, and the big island of Hawaii.

ABOUT AISGC

The AISGC has dedicated itself toward the promotion, perpetuation, and education of the Hawaiian Steel Guitar. This has been evident in the club's newsletters, festivals, and members.

The AISGC holds a festival annually in Winchester, Indiana. All members and non-members are welcome to attend.
